Uncensored Humanity UH 032 - Andrew Hoffman & Jake Bible American Honesty #4
Friday May 31, 2019
Friday May 31, 2019
Welcome to a special segment of the Uncensored Humanity Podcast we call American Honesty. During these shows I have two co-costs; Andrew Hoffman and Jake Bible. On the American Honesty segments we like to discuss topics that society has deemed inappropriate. Our goal is to just get our opinions out in the open for a discussion. We believe that the ability to talk about these tough topics is seriously lacking in today's society, as people seem to get offended too easily.
Today the three of us sat down with no particular topic to discuss. We just let the conversation go wherever it happened to go. It's always so much fun to sit down with these two and have some fun conversations. Maybe we just ramble on, but hopefully we'll at least get better at podcasts the more we do. Either way I'm having a blast with them. I always look forward to these special segments.
American Honesty is a project that Jake started a couple of years ago. So now using the podcast as our platform we are going to carry on the project that Jake started. Hopefully it will lead to some good conversations that others can enjoy as much as we do.
Both Andrew and Jake have been on the show multiple times separately. If you want to hear more about them, please check out their individual episodes.

We believe that the ability to talk about these tough topics is seriously lacking in today's society, as people seem to get offended too easily.
Joining us today is Cody Belles. We talked a little bit about Cody on the last American Honesty podcast as he made some comments online and figuratively dropped the mic to end the discussion. Cody wanted to talk about parenting after watching a youtube video about parents taking their small child to a gay pride march. While none of us have a problem with the march itself. We can't seem to agree on if that's what is best for the child as they are not old enough to make that decision for themselves.

Uncensored Humanity UH 030 - Coach Dan Bell Arnold 2019 Recap
Wednesday May 01, 2019
Wednesday May 01, 2019
On today's episode my Weightlifting coach Dan Bell and I sat down to do a 2019 Arnold Sports Classic recap. We've been trying to find a date that works for both of us; but it took us a few weeks to actually be able to recap how the 2019 Arnold went. My team, Rubber City Weightlifting, did okay as a whole. We had eight lifters compete over the course of the weekend. Unfortunately only four of them posted a total. Two had to withdraw because of injury and the other two were unable to hit the lifts that they needed on that day. For me personally this was the biggest meet of my life. I needed to post a total of 250kg to qualify for the 2019 Master's World Weightlifting Championships. I've been struggling with a hip injury for the past year that the doctor's can't seem to figure out what's exactly wrong. This has left me mostly unable to squat for the past year. I came into the meet with a squat that was approximately 20kg less than what I needed to have the strength necessary to successfully lift the qualifying total. But you know me by this point; I'm going to give it hell no matter what.
Dan Bell is the owner and head coach of Rubber City Weightlifting, an Olympic Weightlifting gym. Dan has over 30 years of experience in strength sports. Dan has been coaching Olympic Weightlifting for the past 19 years. He has coached athletes of all different skill levels and ages. From local meet lifters to national level lifters all the way to Olympic level lifter Holley Mangold. Dan and Holley were featured on the MTV show True Lift while Dan was preparing Holley for the 2009 Pan American Championships in Guatemala.
Dan is not just a lifter and coach, he studied English from the Ohio State University. Dan has published the book “Nadir's Fire”, that you can find on Amazon. Dan is one of the top Olympic Weightlifting coaches in the country. He is very good at developing national level lifters from people with no prior lifting experience. Dan also teaches USA Weightlifting Level 1 coaches clinics a few times a year for people wanting to expand their knowledge of Olympic Weightlifting. If you are an aspiring strength coach you need to take one of his clinics.
You can find Dan on Facebook and Instagram @RubberCityWeightlifting. You can visit his website at RubberCityWeightlifting.org. He has some great plans for jerk blocks on his website. People have been using his design for jerk blocks for years as they are some of the best available. Plus, they are free. You can register for his USAW Level 1 coach's seminars at USAWeightlifting.org. He has some level 1 seminars coming up throughout the year.

Uncensored Humanity UH 029 - Ryan Carlson Is Screen Time Bad For You
Friday Apr 19, 2019
Friday Apr 19, 2019
Our guest today is Ryan Carlson. Ryan has been the tech support for this podcast since before I even committed to do it. He has been a huge support in many different ways for the show. He helped me pick out my laptop, set up my equipment and even find where to upload and host the podcast itself.
Ryan wanted to come back on the show to talk about screen time. Ryan has been studying the effects of too much screen time. He believes that too much screen time can cause problems for people, especially children and young adults. I definitely agree with him on this one. I personally spent most of my childhood outside playing. I feel that was very beneficial for my development. Kids today need to be exposed to technology. To not do so would hinder their growth as they will be around technology for all of their lives. But I personally believe that they should have their screen time limited and they should have to learn how to interact with other kids and adults. This is a topic that all of us need to spend time thinking about how it will affect our lives.
Ryan is very interested in all things technology. He seems to always be up to date on all the new things coming out. He's always listening to podcasts and watching videos to find out where technology is headed. He usually has to explain it to those of us who don't understand how all these things seem to work. I'm sure it gets old for him trying to get things through my thick skull. I tend to be very old school and not up on technology. He's always giving me hell for only using 2-5% of what my phone can actually do. He is the person I go to with any technology question.
Ryan also enjoys brewing his own beer. I don't think he gets to brew as much as he'd like because of his two small children. They seem to keep him pretty busy. But I'm sure we'll end up talking about beer in a future episode.

Jake and Ben talked about what they wanted to discuss on the podcast and Ben suggested Religion. Andrew and I were more than excited to discuss that topic as it's a bit of a hot spot for both of us. We all definitely had a great conversation that we hope everyone will enjoy.

We have back with us today Jeff Wilson of Instruments of Freedom Tactical Weapons Training Group. Jeff also brought his business partner Ethan Frontz on the podcast today. Jeff wanted to come back on the podcast to talk about some big news with his shop and to promote his 2019 class schedule.
This is Ethan's first time on the podcast and we got to know a little about his background during this episode. But I feel like we only scratched the surface and hope that we can have him back on the show in the future to dig a little deeper into his story. I truly believe that it can help others. It was brave of him to share so much of his life with us today.
Jeff and Ethan run a company called the Instruments of Freedom Tactical Weapons Training Group IOFTWTG.COM. Head over and sign up for some training from some of the best firearms trainers in the area. You can visit their retail store at 426 E. Liberty St. Wooster, Ohio 44691. Uncensored Humanity UH 026 - Andrew Hoffman & Jake Bible American Honesty
Tuesday Feb 05, 2019
Tuesday Feb 05, 2019
We have a special treat today. Two of our favorite guests are on the show together. We have with us Andrew Hoffman and Jake Bible. The three of us wanted to cover a tough topic that most people would not feel comfortable talking about. Today we are going to have a conversation about White Privilege.
Andrew and Jake have been my biggest supporters of the podcast and we've been trying to get together for a while record an episode together. But our schedules have not allowed that to happen until today. The three of us have decided to start a special segment on this podcast where we talk about these kind of tough topics and current news. Hopefully we'll be able to bring in a fourth guest from time to time who will have a differing opinion. We are calling this new segment American Honesty.

Uncensored Humanity UH 024 - Andrew Hoffman Star Wars and Today's Society
Monday Dec 24, 2018
Monday Dec 24, 2018
Our guest today is one of my favorite people in the world Andrew Hoffman. On today's episode Andrew and I started talking about Star Wars and it lead into an interesting conversation about society today. I'm a huge Star Wars fan, but I'm not interested in the new Disney Star Wars movies. I personally will stick with the old ones. Even the ones that no one else seems to like, episodes 1-3. Andrew likes the new Star Wars movies, but was unhappy with the Last Jedi. It seems that a lot of people didn't care too much for that movie when it came out either. Talking about how people reacted to that movie lead us into a fun discussion about society today. This is the type of conversation that I stated the podcast for. I really enjoyed our conversation and hope that you will as well.
I met Andrew when I started Crossfit. We worked out together and hung out with mutual friends outside of the gym. I was invited to a group chat that a couple of them had started at the gym called the “bro pit”. That's what we called the regular gym area outside of the Crossfit area where we were all working out. The four of us from the “bro pit” would get together and have fun outings away from the gym laughing until our faces hurt. I'm hoping to have a bro pit podcast in the future where we all get a little too drunk and laugh until we all hurt.
Andrew was very excited when I told him I was starting the podcast. He has offered to help me with technical issues. Which is good because I'm clueless when it comes to technology. Andrew owns and runs his own business.
You can find him on twitter @adh_79 where he can usually be found re-tweeting very offensive posts.

Uncensored Humanity UH 023 - Jake Bible Citizens Together 2
Thursday Nov 08, 2018
Thursday Nov 08, 2018
We have back with us today one of our favorite guests Jake Bible. I've known Jake for a few years. I used to work out with his wife. We all used to meet at the bar and have great conversations over a few beers. Jake has a wonderful outlook on life. He was involved in an extremely bad car accident about 10 years ago. The car accident left him in a coma for a few weeks. An experience like that can change your perspective on life. Now he's doing his best to make the most out of life.
In today's episode we talked a lot about one of Jake's favorite topics, politics. We talked about where Jake likes to get his news these days. We both agree that you can't trust anything on the mainstream media, on either side of the isle. Jake now believes that the best way to get the real news is to listen to podcasts. I have to agree with him. Podcasts seem to be the best platform for anyone to talk freely about any topic they choose. It seems that if someone works for a major company they can't speak their mind without major consequences, usually their job. Plus each major company obviously has their own agenda they want to put forward. Podcasts are a great way to get information out on both sides of the issues and allow people to make up their own minds as to what they believe. Which obviously is the whole point of politics.
We talked about some other fun topics as well. At some point I may or may not have gone on a a bit of a rant about social media and people not being who they portray themselves to be online. I just don't understand why people just aren't genuine all the time. Is it really so hard to ask everyone to just be real?? We also got into voting a little bit. Where Jake likes to get his information about how he can due his duty to be an educated voter.
A little about Jake... Jake is a CNC Hydromat Machinist. He is what I would call blue collar proud. Unfortunately it seems like today's society looks down on someone who doesn't have a college degree or a white collar job. But there's nothing wrong with working a blue collar job to provide for your family. We need those people doing what they do and they should be proud to do it.
Jake is very active politically and writes his opinions to the Letters to the Editor in the Medina Trading Post (ThePostNewspapers.com/Medina). He has been writing his letters to the editor for 4-5 years. In the beginning he was writing into the paper once a week. But after a complaint about certain people writing in too often, he now only writes in once a month. That's the most any one person is allowed.
Jake is a huge Cleveland sports fan. His favorite team is the Browns. Although he enjoys watching the Indians and the Cavs too. He's always talking about how the Browns will be have a better season, next year.

Uncensored Humanity UH 022 - Kirk Puterbaugh Home Brewing Beer
Friday Oct 05, 2018
Friday Oct 05, 2018
We have back with us today Kirk Puterbaugh. I wanted Kirk to come back on the show to talk about one of his hobbies. Home brewing his own beer. Kirk has been brewing his own beer for a few years now. He likes to experiment with different types of beer and crazy ingredients. I've had the pleasure of getting to sample a few of his different beers. Every one of them I've had was excellent.
Kirk is very active in the home brewing scene in Northeast Ohio. He has entered his beers into competitions to be judged to see if he needs to tweak his recipe. He has also helped run similar events to help grow the local home brewing scene. He is a part of the Little Mountain Home Brewers Association which can be found on their facebook page.
I don't know why I enjoy learning about alcohol as much as I do. But I find it incredibly fascinating. I had fun talking with Kirk about making beer and I hope you will enjoy our conversation as much as I did. Enjoy.

Uncensored Humanity UH 021 - Jeff Wilson Tactical Tuesday and Pat McNamara
Thursday Sep 20, 2018
Thursday Sep 20, 2018
We have back with us today Jeff Wilson of Instruments of Freedom – Tactical Weapons Training Group located in Wooster Ohio. Jeff has 22 years experience performing firearms training for police and military personnel.
Jeff wanted to come back on the show to talk about everything he has going on. His retail shop is now up and running in Wooster Ohio. He also had the privilege of co-hosting a three (3) day training event with none other than Pat McNamara of TMACS Inc. (@tmacsinc on Instagram). Pat is one of the most sought after firearms trainers in the country. Pat also has a very interesting and entertaining Instagram account. Pat will be coming back in June of 2019 to teach another class. That class is already almost sold out.
Jeff has a new training opportunity he's calling Tactical Tuesday. Participants meet every Tuesday of the month for two (2) hours for what is pretty much a mini class. Jeff sets up shooting drills at the range for the shooters to practice the skills they have learned in their firearms classes. It's an excellent way for people to get in some high level practice on the range in between normal classes without breaking the bank.
Jeff opened up his classes to the civilian market 7-8 years ago which is where I met Jeff and his partner Ed. Jeff has a background in law enforcement where he spent 12 years on the force. Jeff has helped to build and train Wayne county's S.W.A.T. team. Jeff has also been around boats all his life and sells them for Hunton Yachts. Selling boats and teaching firearms training classes takes him all over the country. Jeff's family has also been in the restaurant business most of his life. His family owns a pizza shop in Wooster Ohio called Lionsgate Pizza, Ice Cream and Deli.
Jeff runs a company call the Instruments of Freedom Tactical Weapons Training Group IOFTWTG.COM. Head over and sign up for some training from one of the best firearms trainers in the area. You can visit their retail store at 426 E. Liberty St. Wooster, Ohio 44691. They will be carrying apparel, firearm accessories, holsters, ammunition, health and wellness supplements and more. They are in the works of obtaining an FFL to sell firearms. Then they will be the one stop shop for everything firearms in Wayne county Ohio.

Uncensored Humanity UH 020 - Political Jay Getting to Know
Friday Sep 07, 2018
Friday Sep 07, 2018
Our guest today is my good friend Jay. I've known Jay for a few years. He's what I would call a fast friend. We just hit it off right from the beginning. We don't get to see each other as much as I'd like. But when we do get together it's like no time has passed at all. Those are the best kind of friends.
Jay is really into politics and current events. We always seem to have interesting conversations when we get together. His employer frowns upon their employees talking about politics in a public setting. But Jay feels that there are important topics that must be discussed. With respect for his employer he has asked to remain anonymous here on the podcast.
During our talk we got off into the weeds quite a bit. But that seems to happen here on the show a bunch. That seems to be a gift of mine. We talked a little about how he grew up. Going to college and even how to buy cars. Along with a bunch of other random topics.
I enjoyed our conversation. Hopefully you will as well. Enjoy.

Today we have a special treat. We have back with us one of our favorite guests Dr. Maximillian Zart and a first time guest Dr. Lucas Summers. Both of them are from the Healthiest You Chiropractic Center in Strongsville Ohio.
Today we have two doctor's of Chiropractic Care Professionals to discuss a podcast from Joe Rogan and Yvette D'Entremont called Chiropractors are Bullshit. On their podcast Joe and Yvette talked a lot about the origins of Chiropractic Care, which seems a little shady to say the least. They didn't have too many good things to say about Chiropractic Care.
On our podcast we discussed the Chiropractors are BS podcast and some of the points they brought up on the show. Hopefully we were able to show a different side of the argument so people can make up their own minds whether Chiropractic Care is something that would benefit them or not.
Dr. Max attended Baldwin Wallace University where he graduated Suma Cum Laude with a degree in chemistry. Dr. Max furthered his studies at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Florida where he graduated valedictorian of his class with a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree.
Dr. Lucas attended Miami University and graduated with a bachelors degree in Kinesiology. Then Dr. Lucas went to the Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas Texas. He graduated Cum Laude with a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree.
You can make an appointment to see Dr. Max at his office located at 15247 Pearl Rd. Strongsville, Ohio 44136. Or call the office at 440-238-3338. Visit THYCHIRO.com to find out more about his practice. He is by far the best chiropractor I have been to. Everyone I send to him says the same thing. You won't regret it.

We decided to do a Technology 101 podcast so Ryan could cover some basics. We had a fun conversation that I hope you will find useful. We definitely just scratched the surface. We'll have to do some more podcasts like this in the future. Enjoy.

Uncensored Humanity UH 017 - Kirk & Sam Puterbaugh Getting to Know
Thursday Jul 19, 2018
Thursday Jul 19, 2018
Our guests today are my friends Kirk and Sam Puterbaugh. Having married couples on the show is something I'd like to do more of in the future. I love getting to hear a couple's story. How they met, what they do to make their relationship successful and how they got through the problems in their relationship. Maybe it's just the hopeless romantic in me.
Today we got to know Kirk and Sam a little bit. Then we got into their fitness journey. Kirk was over weight and had a health scare. They decided together to start seeing a trainer to get healthier as a couple.
Kirk and Sam met in college because they both played in the band. They hung out as friends for the first year and then they started dating. They've been together ever since. Like any relationship they've had their ups and downs. But like all of us they had to communicate with each other openly to work through anything that came up. I personally believe that open and honest communication is the only way to make a relationship last. If the communication isn't there the relationship is doomed.
I had a blast talking with them and hopefully they will join us on the show in the future. Hopefully y'all enjoy the conversation as much as I did.

Uncensored Humanity UH 016 - David Choma & Luke Weeks Opportunity Furniture
Tuesday Jul 03, 2018
Tuesday Jul 03, 2018
Okay folks I have a special treat for you today. For the first time on this podcast we have two guests for you to enjoy. We have back with us one of our favorite guests David Choma of Crossfit Strongsville and we also have David's future brother in-law Luke Weeks. David wanted to have Luke on the podcast because of his interesting story.
Luke grew up in Northeast Ohio and was really into playing his guitar and writing his own songs growing up. Luke spent a couple of years in his teens down in South America with his family on missions trips. Unfortunately shortly after returning to the states Luke found himself in a bad place in his life in his late teens and early 20's. He felt like he wasn't living his purpose and knew he needed to make some changes. Luke had to make some really tough decisions in his life to get things back on track.
Luke got a job working for a gas company and enjoyed the work. But with a job like that you end up traveling a lot to different job sites and spending too much time in hotels and away from home. After that job he moved into construction to be closer to home.
Luke has been very involved in music most of his life. He's played in different bands writing and recording his own music. He currently sings in a metal band and is excited to learn more about this different genre of music, as he has mostly played rock and roll music (my personal favorite).
As a hobby Luke started restoring old furniture to keep himself busy. That hobby has grown into his business Opportunity Furniture. Luke has a big vision for Opportunity Furniture and hopes to grow it locally and eventually even bigger. He wants to get more into custom furniture and not just restoring old furniture.
You can find out more about Opportunity Furniture by emailing OpportunityFurniture@gmail.com. You can follow him on Instagram @OpportunityFurniture and @LukeWeeksHimself.
David is one of the sponsors of the show and has been a huge supporter since before the podcast even started. You can visit David at Crossfit Strongsville located at 15247 Pearl Rd. Strongsville, Ohio 44136. You will receive a 1 on 1 consultation with David to see how they can best help you reach your health goals. You can follow David on Instagram @IronHalo19.
David has the following certifications
- Crossfit Level 1
- Crossfit Kids
- Crossfit Judge's Course
- B.S. Exercise Phsiology
- ACSM Certified Personal Trainer
- Silver Sneakers MSROM
- Crossfit Level 2 (CF-L2)

Uncensored Humanity UH 015 - Katelyn Reuther Getting To Know
Thursday Jun 14, 2018
Thursday Jun 14, 2018
Our guest today is my friend and teammate Katelyn Reuther. I am very excited to have Katelyn on the podcast. She has a very interesting background and I can't wait to dig into it. Katelyn was home schooled all the way through high school. She was active growing up playing different sports such as soccer and being on the swim team. She was also involved in horseback riding and the speech and debate team.
Katelyn has always been active in her church and went to college to study youth ministries. She worked at church summer camps through high school and college. Katelyn got her start coaching during her senior year of college when her coach asked her to be the player / manager of the JV soccer team.
After college Katelyn got a job coaching soccer camps for kids. She got an opportunity through the company running the soccer camps to take a position in Ireland coaching Futbol (or soccer to us from the states) to kids over there. She lived and coached there for 5 years. While in Ireland she played Futbol for a local club team for fun. A local gym had a clinic for Olympic Weightlifting that she attended. She enjoyed the clinic and signed herself up for a weightlifting meet with basically no idea what she was doing. At the meet she met some people from a weightlifting club that invited her to come and train with them. That club had some of the best lifters in the area and she got the chance to train with them and learn the sport.
Now that Katelyn is back in the states she is coaching and competing in Olympic Weightlifting. She is one of the most dedicated lifters we have at the club and is a great example to all our lifters. Her goal in weightlifting is to qualify for the USAW American Open and the Senior National Championships. She coaches weightlifting at Crossfit Intent in northeast Ohio. She has two level one Olympic Weightlifting certifications. One from USAW and the other from British Weightlifting (Great Britain's National Governing Body for Weightlifting).
Katelyn is always a huge help at the club. She helps coach the lifters during practice and at meets. She seems to always be the first to suggest team get togethers and plan meet travel carpools as well. She is a huge asset to the team and she is becoming a great coach. You can follow her on Instagram @KateLeoLifts. I really enjoyed our conversation and I hope that you will as well.

Uncensored Humanity UH 014 - Jake Bible Citizens Together
Tuesday May 22, 2018
Tuesday May 22, 2018
Our guest today is Jake Bible. I've known Jake for a few years. I used to work out with his girlfriend and we all used to meet at the bar and have great conversations over a few beers. Jake has a wonderful outlook on life. He was involved in an extremely bad car accident about 10 years ago. The car accident left him in a coma for a few weeks. An experience like that can change your perspective on life. Now he's doing his best to make the most out of life.
In today's episode we talked about gun control and the school shootings. We also got into where to find reliable news sources today. We also talked about transgender athletes and whether that's fair to the other competitors. It was definitely a fun conversation. I hope you folks enjoy it as much as I did.

Uncensored Humanity UH 013 - Coach Dan Bell Progress vs. Maximal Progress
Tuesday May 15, 2018
Tuesday May 15, 2018
We have back with us today is my Olympic Weightlifting coach Dan Bell of Rubber City Weightlifting.
Dan also teaches USA Weightlifting Level 1 coaches clinics a few times a year. If you are an aspiring strength coach you need to take one of his clinics.
Today we talked about progress in training vs. something fictional called maximal progress. We also talked about a new squat study that he read recently testing effectiveness of 1/4 squats (or bro squats), parallel squats and full range of motion (ass to calves) squats. It was interesting and I was a little surprised at the results of the study. We also talked about how to turn out 500 pound squaters and 400 pound benchers from high school athletes doing a revolutionary new program. Dan also brought up how excited he is for the new USAW Coach's Symposium. He's been asking for something like this for years.
He has two coming up. One is Cincinnati on May 19-20 and the second in Cranberry PA on June 2-3.

Uncensored Humanity UH 012 - Agent Tom Gulf War Stories
Tuesday May 08, 2018
Tuesday May 08, 2018
Our guest today if my friend Tom. Tom is a federal agent. Although he is unable to talk about most of his work for the man, he is able to talk in generalities of some of the things he has done as an agent.
Tom joined the Army right after high school. He was deployed over seas shortly after boot camp and spent most of his military career over seas. He spent a bunch of his military career in a job that was different from what he was supposed to be doing. But that allowed him to get some more experience than he would have otherwise.
After his time in the military he ended up in Dallas Texas on the Police department. He spent 7 years on the force there. He was applying to different agencies to work for the federal government. He got a position here in Ohio and took that one and has been working for the man ever since.
Today we talked mostly about Tom's time in the military. He had a bunch of stories from his time in the Gulf war. I had a blast listening to his stories and I hope that you do too.

Uncensored Humanity UH 011 - Brandon Gerber
Tuesday May 01, 2018
Tuesday May 01, 2018
Our guest today is Brandon Gerber of Gerbzilla Powerlifting. Brandon is an ACE (American Council on Exercise) certified personal trainer. Brandon currently works out of Durniat Strength in Wooster Ohio. He has been a personal trainer for 6 years.
Brandon started lifting in high school for sports. It lead to him competing in multiple different strength sports including grip strength, highland games, strongman and powerlifting. His main sport that he still competes in is powerlifting. He is a 2 time national level powerlifter in the 105 Kg class for the USAPL federation. He also qualified and lifted at the 2018 Arnold Sports Festival and placed 2nd in the push-pull meet. That's an accomplishment that most people will never achieve during their lifting career.
Brandon is also a bit of a gear head, or petrol head for you Top Gear fans. He has been building hot rods with his dad for most of his life. Last year he finished a 1929 Ford Model A that he and his dad have been building since he was in high school. He sold the Model A and is now building a 1932 Ford Roadster that should be complete this year.
Today we sat down and got to know Brandon. He may be young but he knows a ton about strength training. It seems like every time I see him he's telling me about something new that he learned or he's showing me a crazy lifting video.
You can follow Brandon on Instagram @Gerbzilla_Powerlifting. If you want to get in touch with him about online training or some kick ass Gerbzilla Powerlifting apparel you can email him at GerbzillaPowerlifting@gmail.com.

In today's episode we talked a lot about Jake's background. We talked about the car accident and how that has helped shape his view of the world. We got into his work as a CNC Machinist and how with only a few months on the job he was sent to Switzerland to learn how to operate new machinery being installed in the US plant. He seems to get ahead of the pack by doing the things that others don't want to do. Like I've heard before, the universe rewards hustle. I always enjoy our conversations and I hope that you do too.

Uncensored Humanity UH 009 - Andy Hoffman
Thursday Apr 12, 2018
Thursday Apr 12, 2018
My guest today is one of my best friends in the world Andy Hoffman. I met Andy when I started Crossfit.
Andy was very excited when I told him I was starting the podcast. He has offered to help me with technical issues. Which is good because I'm clueless when it comes to technology. Andy owns and runs his own business.
On today's episode we mostly talked about Andy's faith and how it has shaped his world view. Andy also shared with us that he believes that social media is changing the world for the worst. We got into the subject of marriage, relationships and sex. Things got very personal and deep. Andy was very transparent. That's a tough thing to do. Opening up so much of yourself to the world. I really enjoyed our conversation and hope that you will as well.
You can find him on twitter @adh_79 where he can usually be found re-tweeting very offensive posts.
