On today's episode we have Officer Brett. Officer Brett is a friend of Jake Bible and we both wanted him to come on the show and talk about the things he's currently seeing as an active duty police officer. He has some very interesting things to say and I feel like there is plenty more to talk about in future episodes.
Officer Brett was in the Army as a Artillery specialist. He served in Iraq in his time in the Army. He has been a police officer for 6 years now with the last year being a SWAT Officer.
Jake is one of our regular guests on the podcast as he loves to have these interesting discussions with anyone. Jake is very much involved in local leadership with Medina Leadership. He is one of my co-hosts for the American Honesty segments on the show. He's always wanting to bring people on the podcast so they can share their opinion about the controversial topics we all like to cover.
Jake has been on all the American Honesty segments and a few other individual episodes. If you want to hear more from him, just go back and listen to those episodes. One of my personal favorites was episode 45 – Belly up to the Bar.

Uncensored Humanity UH 056 - Todd Gienger, Jake Bible Is Jake Crazy
Wednesday Sep 23, 2020
Wednesday Sep 23, 2020
On today's episode we have two of our favorite guests with us, Todd Gienger and Jake Bible. I wanted to have Todd back on the show and he wanted to ask Jake what makes him want to talk to everyone about tough topics. As you all know by now Jake loves to strike up conversations with anyone about politics, race relations, religion and many other controversial topics. Todd and I have had many of the same conversations with each other over the years. But the two of us normally don't have them with just anyone like Jake seems to enjoy doing.
I have known Todd for years and he is one of my closest friends. Any time I need to talk he is always there to listen and offer great advice. We have had many great talks over the years on a large range of topics. He is truly one of the most caring and compassionate people I've ever met.

Uncensored Humanity UH 055 - Andrew Hoffman, Jake Bible, Ben West American Honesty 14
Wednesday Sep 02, 2020
Wednesday Sep 02, 2020
Welcome to a special segment of the Uncensored Humanity Podcast we like to call American Honesty. During these shows I will have two co-hosts; Andrew Hoffman and Jake Bible. On the American Honesty segment we like to discuss topics that society has deemed inappropriate. Our goal is to just get our opinions out in the open for a discussion. We believe that the ability to talk about these tough topics is seriously lacking in today's society, as people seem to get offended too easily.
Back with us today is Ben West. Ben was our first guest on American Honesty and was a great guest. We definitely wanted to have him back on the show. Finally we made it happen. On today's episode we talked about the upcoming 2020 presidential election between President Trump and Joe Biden. We were not at all short of our own opinions about the election. There seems to be a ton of controversy surrounding the election. Everyone I've personally talked to feels very strongly about it one way or another. We also talked about social media giving people the opportunity to tell the world their opinion about everything. Where as I believe that is there right here in a free country. It may or may not be good for the population. We certainly have some strong feelings about this topic. Hopefully you enjoy listening as much as we did recording the podcast.
American Honesty is a project that Jake started a couple of years ago. So now using the podcast as our platform we are going to carry on the project that Jake started. Hopefully it will lead to some good conversations that others can enjoy as much as we do.
Both Andrew and Jake have been on the show multiple times separately. If you want to hear more about them, please check out their individual episodes.

Friday Aug 28, 2020
Friday Aug 28, 2020
Our guest today is my friend Caitlin Bourque. We sat down over a couple of beers and had a fun conversation. I wanted to talk today about a photography project that Caitlin was a part of for the Massillon Ohio Tigers Football team called Tiger Legacy. Caitlin found out about this project from her college professor when she was studying graphic design. She spent over 5 years working on this project.
Caitlin enjoys being outdoors, she would say that it calms her mind down. You can find her hiking, river walking, mountain biking and kayaking whenever possible.
If you want to follow her online you can find her on Instagram @ThinkBig_DrawTiny.

Uncensored Humanity UH 053 - Shannon White Jiu Jitsu The Need to Know
Wednesday Aug 19, 2020
Wednesday Aug 19, 2020
Our guest today is my Brazilian Jiu Jitsu instructor Shannon White. Shannon came back on the podcast to talk about all the things you need to know to start Jiu Jitsu. We talked about a bunch of the questions that he gets on a regular basis from people looking to join the gym. We also talked about the questions that you should be asking to see if that particular gym is right for you. Lastly we got into some red flags to watch out for. If you see any of those at any location you are looking at, run away!!
Shannon is the head instructor of BJJ at True Art Jiu Jitsu in Fairlawn Ohio. Shannon got his black belt in Jiu Jitsu in the fall of 2018 from his instructor Mark Vives of the New Breed Training Center in Chicago Illinois. Shannon started training Jiu Jitsu in 2009 at the age of 19. He has a pedigree of competition in Jiu Jitsu and has many accomplishments on the mat. His latest accomplishment was winning the 2014 IBJJF Chicago Summer Open as a purple belt.
Shannon has a real passion for teaching and believes that Jiu Jitsu is for everyone. He is the only instructor at his gym. So he is there at every class to teach his students.

Uncensored Humanity UH 052 - Dane Lee Accepting Change in Tough Times
Monday Aug 03, 2020
Monday Aug 03, 2020
My guest today is Dane Lee of Elite Recovery Sports Massage and he is what I would call a recovery specialist. Dane is a certified Exercise Physiologist through ACSM and a licensed Massage Therapist in the state of Ohio through Stark State College. Dane has a Bachelors of Science degree from Kent State University in Exercise Science with emphasis on exercise specialist. Dane has experience in massage, experience as a strength coach and as a gymnastic coach.
On today's episode we talked about how Dane got through the 2020 Covid 19 pandemic. How he did his best to stay positive and be productive. He also had time to sit down and start journaling for the first time in years and that allowed him to redefine his approach on recovery as a whole for his athletes. We also got into a deep conversation toward the end of the episode about mental health. It was a fascinating conversation. I immensely enjoy my conversations with Dane and we definitely need to have him on the show more often!
Dane started his college career as a Musical Theater Major at Kent State University. Although he loved theater Dane moved away from his major and joined the Ohio Army National Guard and spent six (6) years as a Signal Systems Support Specialist. Dane returned to school after his tour in the Guard. He decided to switch his major to Exercise Science. Even though he switched his major he remained involved with theater at Kent State. He helped coach fellow students, plan classes with his professors and even developed his own method of acting called the Connections Method.
Dane was on the Kent State gymnastics club team. He did a physical therapy internship at Mercy Medical in the Sports Medicine department. Dane did a two (2) year independent study at Kent State teaching actors. Dane also participated in a strength and conditioning internship at Premier Support Conditioning.
You can find Dane on Facebook at Elite Recovery Sports Massage, on Instagram @Elite_Recovery_LMT and online at EliteRecoveryMassage.com. Or you can email him at EliteRecoveryMassage@gmail.com.

Uncensored Humanity UH 051 - Andrew Hoffman Evolving Perspectives
Wednesday Jul 29, 2020
Wednesday Jul 29, 2020
We have back with us today my brother Andrew Hoffman. Andrew is a regular guest on the show, but has needed a break recently with all the negativity in the world. I think we can all relate to that during these tough times. We had a bunch of topics to catch up on and Andrew approached them with a new perspective. I hope that is the trait of this episode. Sometimes we all need to take a step back and look at things through a fresh set of eyes and see if our perspectives need to change on certain topics. I'm glad to have Andrew back on the show as we always have a great time together. We talked today about everything going on the world from the pandemic, to the protests, the presidential election and much more. There is definitely something in there for everyone.
I met Andrew when I started Crossfit. We worked out together and hung out with mutual friends outside of the gym. I was invited to a group chat that a couple of them had started at the gym called the “bro pit”. That's what we called the regular gym area outside of the Crossfit area where we were all working out. The four of us from the “bro pit” would get together and have fun outings away from the gym laughing until our faces hurt. I'm hoping to have a bro pit podcast in the future where we all get a little too drunk and laugh until we all hurt.
Andrew was very excited when I told him I was starting the podcast. He has offered to help me with technical issues. Which is good because I'm clueless when it comes to technology. Andrew owns and runs his own business.

Uncensored Humanity UH 050 - Jeff Wilson & Agent Tom Defunding the Police
Tuesday Jul 21, 2020
Tuesday Jul 21, 2020
We have back with us today Jeff Wilson of Instruments of Freedom – Tactical Weapons Training Group as well as our good friend Agent Tom. I have been excited about this podcast for weeks now and it definitely did not disappoint. Today we talked about the Defund the Police movement going around the country. These two have tons of experience in and around the Law Enforcement community and I was very excited to hear their opinions on the subject. What they had to say definitely took me by surprise. Hopefully you enjoy the conversation as much as we did.
Agent Tom is a federal agent. Although he is unable to talk about most of his work for the man, he is able to talk in generalities of some of the things he has done as an agent. Tom joined the Army right after high school. He was deployed over seas shortly after boot camp and spent most of his military career over seas. He spent a bunch of his military career in a job that was different from what he was supposed to be doing. But that allowed him to get some more experience than he would have otherwise. After his time in the military he ended up in Dallas Texas on the Police department. He spent 7 years on the force there. He was applying to different agencies to work for the federal government. He got a position here in Ohio and took that one and has been working for the man ever since.
Jeff and Ethan run a company call the Instruments of Freedom Tactical Weapons Training Group IOFTWTG.COM. Head over and sign up for some training from some of the best firearms trainers in the area. You can visit their retail store at 426 E. Liberty St. Wooster, Ohio 44691. Then they are the one stop shop for everything firearms in Wayne county Ohio.
You can also visit them on Instagram @Instruments_of_Freedom or find them on Facebook at Instruments of Freedom.

On the American Honesty segments we like to discuss topics that society has deemed inappropriate. Our goal is to just get our opinions out in the open for a discussion. We believe that the ability to talk about these tough topics is seriously lacking in today's society, as people seem to get offended too easily.
Unfortunately Andrew is not able to join us on the show so I asked my very good friend Todd Gienger to join us. Today we wanted to discuss a national level leadership event that Jake was a part of a couple weeks ago. Jake is a part of Medina County Leadership. He was asked to join a national level event to represent Medina County where they discussed all kinds of topics that are relevant during these interesting times. Todd was perfect to join us today as he used to be a part of Leadership Ohio. So he definitely had some great things to offer on the topic. I love that Jake is so interested in helping his community and hopefully his country grow together and not apart like it seems to be doing lately. Please enjoy our conversation.
American Honesty is a project that Jake started a couple of years ago. So now using the podcast as our platform we are going to carry on the project that Jake started. Hopefully it will lead to some good conversations that others can enjoy as much as we do.

Dane has a Bachelors of Science degree from Kent State University in Exercise Science with emphasis on exercise specialist. Dane has experience in massage, experience as a strength coach and as a gymnastic coach.
On today's episode we talked about Dane's new approach toward recovery. He has completely revolutionized his approach with his athletes. He is now taking an entire systematic approach with each athlete and has created a individual recovery program for each person. His new approach should allow him to help his athletes make faster progress in each phase of recovery. It really is a game changer when it comes to the approach of recovery.

Ethan and his partner Jeff Wilson run Instruments of Freedom in Wooster Ohio. Today there was plenty of things to discuss on the show. We talked about restrictions at work, the current protests and riots going on around the country. It was definitely a great discussion. Hopefully you enjoy it as much as we did.

This is a special segment that I'm going to call Belly Up to the Bar. The whole idea is just to get together, have a few drinks (or more), BS and have a good time. This episode will basically be an invitation to hang with us like we would at our local bar or at one of our house's on the back patio.
There were two rules about this podcast. One, you had to drink. Two, no talking about the Covid 19 pandemic. It was time here on the podcast for a change of pace and to just have a good time. Boy did we ever have a good time. We talked about everything from golf, mowing the yard, quantum physics, religion, spirituality, ghosts, etc. You know... The normal topics while out with your friends.
I know what you're thinking. Is this really what these guys talk about at a normal get together at the bar. The answer is, Yes. This is exactly what a normal night out would be like.
I had a blast and I personally can't wait to do another episode like this one again. Hopefully you guys enjoy it as much as we did.

Today we have a special guest on the podcast Steve Shields. Steve is a financial advisor. It was really interesting to get his perspective on how the corona virus is affecting our economy. Luckily he has an optimistic outlook on the situation as a whole. We also all had a couple of whiskey's during the podcast. It definitely made things a little more interesting and some of us possibly a little more vocal. It was definitely a fun conversation. Hopefully you all enjoy it as much as we did.

We have back with us today Jeff Wilson & Ethan Frontz of Instruments of Freedom – Tactical Weapons Training Group as well as our buddy Agent Tom. This podcast has been a long time coming. I personally have been wanting to have all three of these guys on for quite a while, and I can honestly say it was well worth the wait. We had such a great time. We talked everything from purchasing your first firearm in these crazy times, to firearms training and of course how to stay sane during this 2020 Coronavirus shut down. Hopefully you enjoy it as much as we did.
Agent Tom is a federal agent. Although he is unable to talk about most of his work for the man, he is able to talk in generalities of some of the things he has done as an agent. Uncensored Humanity UH 041 - Jake Bible Corona Virus Thoughts and Opinions
Wednesday Apr 08, 2020
Wednesday Apr 08, 2020
Our guest today is Jake Bible. I've known Jake for a few years. I used to work out with his girlfriend and we all used to meet at the bar and have great conversations over a few beers. Jake has a wonderful outlook on life. He was involved in an extremely bad car accident about 10 years ago. The car accident left him in a coma for a few months. An experience like that can change your perspective on life. Now he's doing his best to make the most out of life.
During our conversation we mostly talked about the current Corona Virus Covid-19 outbreak. This is an interesting time that has affected all of our lives. Jake has been on the podcast a bunch because of our American Honesty segments. But this is the first time in a long time it was just the two of us sitting down to podcast. We definitely had a bunch to talk about with everything going on.
Jake is a CNC Hydromat Machinist. He is what I would call blue collar proud. Unfortunately it seems like today's society looks down on someone who doesn't have a college degree or a white collar job. But there's nothing wrong with working a blue collar job to provide for your family. We need those people doing what they do and they should be proud to do it.
Jake is very active politically and writes his opinions to the Letters to the Editor in the Medina Trading Post (ThePostNewspapers.com/Medina). He has been writing his letters to the editor for 4-5 years. In the beginning he was writing into the paper once a week. But after a complaint about certain people writing in too often, he now only writes in once a month. That's the most any one person is allowed.
Jake is a huge Cleveland sports fan. His favorite team is the Browns. Although he enjoys watching the Indians and the Cavs too. He's always talking about how the Browns will be have a better season, next year.

Welcome to a special segment of the Uncensored Humanity Podcast we call American Honesty. During these shows I have two co-costs; Andrew Hoffman and Jake Bible. On the American Honesty segments we like to discuss topics that society has deemed inappropriate. Our goal is to just get our opinions out in the open for a discussion. We believe that the ability to talk about these tough topics is seriously lacking in today's society, as people seem to get offended too easily.
Today we mostly talked about the current and ongoing Coronavirus - COVID-19 outbreak. We are still in the beginning stages of the outbreak here in the US, but things are definitely getting very serious. We also talked a little bit about the presidential election as that's been in the news and things are getting crazy with that as well. As always we definitely didn't have a shortage of topics to discuss. Unfortunately the audio quality is not what I expect from our podcast. I messed up the recording options and didn't catch it until we had finished recording. We decided to post the podcast as is and not re-record it. So please forgive me for the poor quality of the audio on this one. It definitely won't happen again.
American Honesty is a project that Jake started a couple of years ago. So now using the podcast as our platform we are going to carry on the project that Jake started. Hopefully it will lead to some good conversations that others can enjoy as much as we do.

Bryan Carpenter was able to join us today for our conversation. Bryan is a former active duty Marine who got blown up by an I.E.D in 2006. All that he wanted in his life was to join the US Military. Bryan had plenty of trouble before he was finally able to join the Military and unfortunately has had even more trouble after due to his accident while serving our country. Uncensored Humanity UH 038 - Andrew Hoffman Catching Up & Normal Life Stuff

We have back with us today one of our favorite guests Andrew Hoffman. It's been a while since we've done a podcast one on one. Andrew has been on a bunch for the American Honesty podcasts, but we both wanted to get together and do one with just the two of us. Andrew really opened up on this episode and let us know some things he struggles with. We had a great conversation that I hope everyone can take something away from.
You can find him on twitter @adh_79 where he can usually be found re-tweeting very offensive posts.

Ethan Frontz from Instruments of Freedom decided to join us today for our conversation. On today's episode we talked about Toxic Masculinity. This is a topic that Ethan was interested in talking about. It's also a topic that I personally didn't know too much about, but was interested to hear what everyone had to say. We all definitely had a great time on this episode. Hopefully you will enjoy this conversation as much as we did.

Uncensored Humanity UH 036 - Agent Tom Kayaking, Mountain Biking & Firearms Training
Wednesday Sep 11, 2019
Wednesday Sep 11, 2019
We have back with us today my friend Agent Tom. Tom is a federal agent. Although he is unable to talk about most of his work for the man, he is able to talk in generalities of some of the things he has done as an agent.
Today Tom and I started our conversation talking about the outdoor activities we both participated in recently. Tom and his wife went kayaking the day before we sat down and he was quite sore from it, lol. I have picked back up mountain biking after years off of the sport with some friends from work. We both agreed that getting out into nature has almost become a must in our lives. We spend too much time indoors and disconnected from nature. I know that I feel better when I get out into the woods and go for a ride. After a short time we started talking about firearms training as that's a big part of what Tom does with his agency. We had a great conversation that I really enjoyed.

On today's episode we wanted to talk about Drugs. This is a topic that I've wanted to cover for a while now. When people think of drugs I think they usually think of illegal drugs. But there are a bunch of different kind of drugs. Drugs are anything that alter you mind. We are all pretty addicted to things that alter our minds. We definitely had a great time on this show. Hopefully you will enjoy this conversation as much as we did.

On today's episode we had plenty of things to talk about. Starting with Andrews run in with the Twitter guidelines and rules board. Next we talked about fanatic sports fans, but I was out voted on that topic. Then we got into the recent mass shooting and gun control. It was definitely a fun conversation like always with these two. I always look forward to the three of us getting together. My face usually hurts after the podcast is over from smiling so much. Hopefully you will enjoy this conversation as much as we did.

Uncensored Humanity UH 033 - Ethan Frontz Ohio Tactical Officers Association
Wednesday Jun 19, 2019
Wednesday Jun 19, 2019
We have back with us today Ethan Frontz of Instruments of Freedom – Tactical Weapons Training Group. Ethan is the business partner of one of our favorite guests Jeff Wilson. The last time Ethan was on the show he came on with Jeff to talk about big news for IOF-TWTG. Ethan was a natural and I couldn't wait to have him back on the show.
On today's episode we talked mostly about training events that Ethan just got back from. The Ohio Tactical Officers Association and the Michigan Tactical Officers Association. These are two of the biggest training events Ethan gets to attend all year. He took classes in the Ohio event and did some teaching for the Michigan event. During these events police officers from all over the state attend different classes to further their own skills and hopefully take lessons back to their departments to implement into that departments overall training. It allows the officers to stay up to date with the latest training offered.
Ethan and Jeff run a company call the Instruments of Freedom Tactical Weapons Training Group IOFTWTG.COM.
