UH 098 - Paul Nouri How to Start Investing in Real Estate

Today we have my Jiu Jitsu teammate Mr. Paul Nouri with us. I asked Paul to come on the show and talk about how to get started investing in Real Estate. Paul has over 10 rentals with his family that they manage. He grew up very poor. He was raised by his mother and also lived with his grandma and uncle all in the same household. Paul grew up in southern California and moved to Ohio for college.

 

After going to school in the evenings Paul's mother got a government contracting job that allowed her to travel for work. She was able to buy her first home in 2005. Then in 2009 they purchased their first investment property and started renting it out. It is a true rags to riches story with Paul's mother moving to the United States as a child, working odd jobs and putting herself through college. Now they manage all their properties together as a family.
